A man has been charged with drink driving after a van crashed into the front of a pub.
The front porch of the Blacksmiths Arms pub in Offham, near Lewes, collapsed when the driver of a Ford Transit van crashed into the building.
Police and firefighters arrived at the scene to find the canopy and porch crumbled on the ground, and the van severely damaged at the side of the road.
Officers arrested 37-year-old Liam Torbett, from Southdown Road in Newhaven, and later charged him with drink driving after the crash at 11.30pm on Saturday.
London Road, where the Blacksmiths Arms is, has been cordoned off on one side with temporary traffic lights while a structural engineer assesses the damage.

Torbett has been released on conditional bail and will appear before Brighton Magistrates' Court on May 30.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police were called after a Ford Transit van collided with the Blacksmiths Arms pub on the A275, Offham, about 10.35pm on Saturday, May 11.
Officers attended and Liam Torbett, 37, of Southdown Road, Newhaven was arrested and charged with drink-driving."
