Julio Enciso has been told to balance confidence and arrogance as he aims for a repeat performance on two counts.
The Paraguay forward would love to conjure up something like the goal he scored to beat Chelsea last season.
Or the prize-winning strike he then produced in the final midweek fixture, against Manchester City.
Roberto De Zerbi liked what he saw of Enciso in the draw at Newcastle.
He said: “Playing with Joao Pedro, Danny Welbeck, Julio Enciso in the right physical condition is important for us.
“Julio is playing well, he is in a good physical condition, Joao Pedro as well.
“Simon Adingra, after two months in not the best physical condition is now playing very well, and for that we are in a good moment.
“I think Julio’s most important quality is the balance between the confidence and arrogance.
“To play at this level you have to keep a high confidence, and he feels like he can be a great player.
“He’s important but he has to make sure he doesn’t go over that line.
“Sometimes I have to keep him down.”
