Two people were trapped after a serious head-on collision near Angmerming.
Firefighters released the 11-year-old girl and man, who were trapped in two separate cars which collided at around 3pm today.
Emergency services were called to A280 Roundstone Bypass.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance while the girl was treated at the scene.
A third man who was initially trapped was released by firefighters arrived.
The road was closed between the A259 roundabout and Water Lane for several hours.
