Police are hunting these two men in connection with an armed robbery.

Officers were called to Portland Place in Hastings at 4am on January 5.

A man was walking home when two suspects ran in front of him and demanded his phone.

The victim, a 23-year-old, was threatened with a knife and handed over his phone, hooded top, a bank card and some cash.

Detective sergeant Tony Webb said: "The victim was thankfully unhurt in this robbery and we are asking if anyone recognises these men who may have been involved.

“They are described as both white and one was described as wearing a grey Adidas hooded top and the other was wearing camouflage trousers.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting serial 159 of 5/1 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
