Fire investigators are examining the cause of a blaze at a caravan.

The blaze broke out at Pondswood Industrial Estate, Hastings, at 10.30am on Friday.

An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service statement said: “Firefighters were sent to Elizabeth Road where they put out a caravan fire within ten minutes, using one hose reel and wearing breathing apparatus.

“A thermal imaging camera was used by crews to look for any hotspots.

“One man was treated at the scene by paramedics after breathing in smoke.”
