Jordan Peters charged with arson with intent following St Leonards blaze
A man has been charged with arson with intent.
Jobless Jordan Peters, 20, of Sedlescombe Road South, St Leonards, appeared at Brighton Magistrates' Court today.
it followed a blaze on Saturday at 11.20pm on Saturday in Eversfield Place, St Leonards.
Police were called after a fire broke out in the stairwell of a multi-occupancy property.
The blaze was quickly contained and put out by East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service. The residents were evacuated and no one was hurt.
The fire was deemed to be suspicious and a 20-year-old man was arrested shortly after the fire.
