Elderly woman taken to hospital after flat fire in Brighton's North Laine
An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after a flat fire in Brighton this morning (Wednesday).
Crew from East Sussex Fire and Rescue were called to Belbourne Court, Bread Street, at around 3.30am after reports of a fire in a flat.
A woman in her 80s was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with smoke inhalation.
