A public meeting is being held to discuss the future of a former day hospital.
The Seaford Day Hospital was bought by the charity Horder Healthcare, which plans to refurbish and reopen it this summer.
The meeting, organised by Seaford Town Council, will give people a chance to talk about what services they would like to be provided with.
Horder Healthcare chief executive Diane Thomas said: “We are looking forward to talking to local people to determine local needs to ensure that our new facility is a real contribution to the community.”
Lewes MP Norman Baker, whose constituency includes Seaford, will also be at the event at Seaford Baptist Church in Belgrave Road on February 25 at 7pm.
He said: “It is very reassuring to see Horder Healthcare, a group with a proven track record in the health sector, take on the operation of Seaford Day Hospital.
“This is a step in the right direction for health care in the town and a step towards getting facilities that are suitable for a town the size of Seaford.”
Anyone interested in going should call Will Thomas on 01892 601472 or email william.thomas@horder.co.uk.
