Brighton town centre was closed for almost five hours today due to a bomb scare.

A suspicious package was found at the army recruitment centre in Queen's Road this morning at about 10.30am.

Our photographer Terry Aplin took a video of the scene as police closed off roads and buildings were evacuated beofre army bomb disposal units were called in.
