Firefighters called after radiator blaze in Steyning
Crews were called to a kitchen blaze following an oil filtered radiator fire.
Firefighters from Worthing, Henfield and Steyning were called to a house in St Cuthman’s Road in Steyning shortly before 11pm last night.
It was feared the elderly woman owner was trapped inside, but she managed to get out by the time the crews arrived.
They went in with breathing masks and hose reels before putting out the oil filtered radiator fire in the kitchen.
The owner was checked over at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
