A man had to be rescued after getting stuck on his roof last night (February 19).

Firefighters from Brighton’s Preston Circus were called to nearby Stanford Avenue shortly before 9pm.

The man, who is believed to live in the house below, had got stuck on the roof.

Crew members used a ladder to reach the man who was unhurt.
