A woman who was robbed had two teeth knocked out as she was pushed to the ground.
Police were called to the incident which took place in an alleyway between Seymour Road and Holyrod Place, Crawley, at 7pm on February 20.
A man approached the victim from behind and pushed her to the floor.
He snatched the woman’s bag and ran off.
He is described as white, in his early twenties and was wearing a blue hooded jumper and blue jeans.
Detective Sergeant Alex Lowe said: "If you were in that area of Broadfield on Thursday evening and saw this man, or have any other information, please contact us via 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1313 of 20/2.
