The story of an unclaimed lottery ticket worth hundreds of thousands of pounds has been portrayed at the Brighton Model World exhibition.

An unknown Brighton and Hove punter is the owner of a EuroMillions ticket worth £577,347.50, following a draw on January 17.

However, the would-be winner needs to come forward to claim their prize before the deadline on July 14.

The search for the ticket’s owner was yesterday depicted in a diorama at the opening of the exhibition at the Brighton Centre, which featured a model of a couple holding a giant winner’s cheque.

A team of six from Merstham Dolls House Club near Redhill were commissioned to work on the unique project, which also featured a paperboy for The Argus sharing the news about the unclaimed ticket.

The winning ticket numbers are 19, 26, 32, 33, 42 and the Lucky Star numbers are 4 and 10.
