A teenage boy appeared in court charged with killing one 16-year-old girl in a road crash and seriously injuring another.
The 17-year-old, of Tangmere, near Chichester, appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday accused of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
It follows a fatal crash on the A285 in Halnaker, near Chichester, on September 21, 2013.
Jasmine Elkamski, of Bognor, died following the crash.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, did not enter a plea and is due to appear at Chichester Crown Court on March 17.
