A woman's body has been found in a parked car in Brighton.

Police received a report of the body of a woman found in a parked car off Saddlescombe Road , Brighton, at about 5.40pm on Friday by a member of the public.

The body has not been formally identified but is believed to be that of Diana White, 42, of Elm Drive, Hove, who police had been seeking since she was reported as missing two days earlier.

A Sussex Police statement said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroners officer is continuing enquiries."
