The Argus: Hand grenade discovered in garden Hand grenade discovered in garden

A hand grenade was found in the garden of a home.

It was discovered in Pegwell Close, Crawley, shortly after 4pm on Sunday, Police said.

A spokeswoman added: “The grenade was left where it was found and the bomb disposal unit arrived and carried out a controlled explosion at 6.10pm.”
