A student had his jaw broken as he walked his girlfriend home from a night out.

Sussex Police would like to speak to these men after a 20-year-old Italian student at the University of Brighton with his girlfriend had his jaw broken on a night out in Brighton.

The student was walking to get a bus home with his girlfriend when they were confronted by a group of men and women in Air Street at about 4am on Saturday March 15.

One of the men began talking to the victim, who lives in Hove, before another punched the student in the face outside Evans Cycles.

The victim suffered a broken jaw and had to go to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Kerri Bartup said: "We need to speak to each of the people in the CCTV footage about what happened to see what they saw and heard.

"This was an unprovoked attack while the victim was trying to get home with his girlfriend.
