Brighton’s most famous cake shop has made a chocolate creation especially for Jason Donovan.

The Neighbours heartthrob didn’t want too many broken hearts, just a cake that was also a game.

He is just one of the string of celebrities to commission amazing cake creations from Choccywoccydoodah in Brighton’s Lanes.

Space tourism pioneer Sir Richard Branson was hoping to be star struck by the chocolate masters who have just moved to a new home in Meeting House Lane.

Multi-platinum selling wrapper, Tinie Tempah, almost Passed Out when he saw the amazing feat of sweet engineering presented to him on his tour.

Tinie’s cake featured a model of himself at the wheel of a car – all carved out of chocolate - that lit up when plugged in.

Mind bender Derren Brown also asked the team to a design him a magical birthday cake featuring a secret illusion.

He said: “Amazing delights filming Choccywoccydoodah today for their show.

“A glorious bunch of pleasure-artists. Such a joy. Truly stunning.”

The celebrities set challenges for the team of chocolate experts for their latest reality TV series Choccywoccydoodah: Starstruck, which will be screened this autumn.

A spokeswoman for the show said: “Never have the stakes been higher for the team at Choccywoccydoodah as they race against the clock, traversing both sides of the Atlantic, to create bespoke extraordinary cakes which will be unveiled at the celebrities’ own showbiz events.”

“Breath-taking celeb challenges and cocoa- flavoured jeopardy are served up as part of the extraordinary world of cake and chocolate.”

Choccywoccydoodah has been creating unique chocolate sculptures for more than ten years and has become legendary worldwide thanks partially to the fly-on-the-wall TV series.

The much-loved Brighton chocolatiers left their Middle Street cafe of 27 years and Duke Street shop of ten years last month to open a new premises in Meeting House Lane.

In the past the company – founded by Christine Taylor – has designed cakes for Kylie Minogue, Whoopi Goldberg, Elton John, Boy George and Joan Collins.
