A man killed after being struck by a train in Hassocks has been named as Robert Cave.
Mr Cave, 49, of London Road, Henfield, died on Monday.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “I can confirm that the man who died after being struck by a train at Hassocks railway station on Monday, 7 April 2014, was Robert Jeremy Cave, aged 49, of London Road, Henfield.
“The incident, which was reported to BTP just after 2pm on Monday, is being treated as non-suspicious.
“Officers are assisting in the preparation of a report for the coroner.”
The train involved was a Brighton to Bedford service.
