A delivery driver had almost £500 in cash stolen from him in a street attack.
The 38-year-old man was walking back to his parked van in Wick Street, Littlehampton, having just collected a cash payment for a fish delivery at a nearby fish and chip shop when he was attacked.
He was struck on the head from behind knocking him unconscious and £479 cash in an envelope was taken from him just before 3.30pm yesterday.
He was taken to Worthing Hospital to be treated for his injury but was discharged later the same day.
