Readers of The Argus can enjoy a bargain bonanza with the launch of a new loyalty card.

The all-new Argus Card went live on Friday and offers super savings at hundreds of businesses across Brighton and Hove and Sussex.

Card holders can take advantage of some amazing deals from an array of restaurants, cafes, shops, clubs and salons.

Discounts range from performances at the Brighton Dome, spring plants at Rushfields Garden centre, a day with the kids at the Brighton Toy and Model Museum or energy efficiency measures at Premier Windows.

And new deals are still being added, so keep checking in The Argus and at theargus.co.uk/card.

One participating businesswoman, Sam Church, of Sam Church Hair salon in Hove, said: “It’s a really great idea and is fantastic for us because it gets our name around. We are offering new clients 50% off their first visit and, if you tell a friend, then you get a 20% off your next visit.

“It’s really important you don’t forget your loyal customers, which I think some places do.

“It can be hard to change hair salons but we’re offering the chance to try us out without too much expense.”

Other health and beauty offers can found at Curves Women's Only Weight Loss and Fitness Centre, in Hove, and Marina Studios, at Brighton Marina. Tasty treats are on offer at top eating establishments including Chilli Pickle, The Coal Shed, Fish Fishy and The Royal Oak.

Participating retailers include Brighton Farm Shop, Soapy Cauldron based in Hove and Guarana in Brighton.

Meanwhile Lagoon Watersports in Hove and Freedom Leisure sports centres, such as the Withdean Sports complex and King Alfred Leisure Centre have great offers.

Once you have your card, you can quickly activate it at theargus.co.uk/card and following the instructions, with all the deals and savings available to view online.
