An 18-year-old was beaten up and robbed in broad daylight.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack which happened between The Square and Market Close in Bognor on April 27 at 3.30pm.

The man was walking home after buying tobacco when he heard voices behind him.

Two youths then assaulted him and stole his tobacco.

Two boys, one aged 16 and one aged 14, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery, questioned and released on bail until June 2.
