MP criticised after using word "f***wit" live on television

The Argus: MP criticised after using word "f***wit" live on television MP criticised after using word "f***wit" live on television

CONSERVATIVE MP Nick Herbert has been criticised after using the word "f***wit" live on television.

The Arundel and South Downs MP was scolded by BBC's Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn for using the word who told him "we won't have any more of that".

But after facing criticism on social media site Twitter, Mr Herbert defended his use of the colourful language by saying he was only quoting his fellow guest, former police officer Peter Kirkham, who he said had used the word to describe Home Secretary Teresa May.

I saw it on TV. The police were accusing Theresa May of being 'abusive' to them in her speech. Though no fan of the Tories I think it effectively showed that the police are hypocrites.

Typical media nit picking. His swearing is irrelevant, we all do it. Name me an Argus journalist that does not!

Why don't the Argus ever actually report what these MPs stand for? In Nick Herbets case, an MP of a government that has put people on the street while the richest get even richer

Exactly, not overly concerned if an MP swears accidently, what does concern me is their corrupt, pro corporate policies.

When I saw the word I thought it was another Argus typing error, assuming the word was "halfwit". Then I read the comment here and realised that this was not the case and here is a word I have never come across before. Would someone kindly explain what the word is by using other letters in the word itself.
As for swearing, I couldn't care less what words are used. It is the policy itself of the speaker that concerns me.
