Could they please arrange for the Police Officer that arrested him to come to Brighton and arrest a few more? I will personally pay his bus fare.

How about a little similar action for those who persistently trespass on parks, playing fields and open public spaces here in Brighton and Hove? Their non-contributory presence is tantamount to persistent begging.

Crikey, I can't walk two streets to the Sainsbury's local without about 5 people hassling me for 'spare change'... Then they all ask me again on the way back 5 minutes later! Then they're sat outside the shop entrance, next to the ATM's (intimidation), tons more along Western Road, all getting into fights over 'begging territories'... Every time I go into the offie they're in there asking for "the strongest lager or cider you have"... And before anyone starts going on about how the high property prices and shortage of housing in B&H leads to this, someone tell me why most of them have Scottish, NW English or Midlands accents? If it IS indeed an arrest able offence then any police officer would have a field day just walking along Western/North Roads of an afternoon.
