Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident on a footpath between Crawley town centre and Ifield in which a man indecently exposed himself to two teenage girls and sexually assaulted one of them by touching.
The incident happened as the girls were walking towards The Mill Primary School from The Dingle at 4.10pm on Saturday (June 14).
The man who accosted them was on a grey/silver bicycle and after they shouted at him to go away he rode off in the direction of Tangmere Road.
He is described as a white man, aged 20-30, about 6', with blond hair. He was wearing grey shorts, a dark blue top, a black baseball cap with white at the front and spoke with an Eastern European accent.
Anyone who saw the incident or the suspect, or who has any other information that may be of help, is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk, quoting serial 1088 of 14/6.
