Detectives are offering a £500 reward in bid to find a man suspected of burgling a house while a woman in her nineties slept. 

Radoslaw Mikus, 32, formerly of Sudley Road, Bognor, is wanted for questioning over a break-in at a house in Felpham.

In the early hours of Friday 16 May a house in Culver Road, Bognor, was entered whilst the occupant slept.

Various items of antiques and silver were taken.

Detective Constable Jon Woolley from the West Sussex Priority Crime Team said, " On Tuesday 17 June a search of an address in Burnham Avenue, Bognor, led to officers recovering a large amount of property including antiques and silverware.

"Some of these items have been identified as coming from the burglary at Culver Road. We have been able to reunite the elderly victim with those items

"As a result of our enquiries we need to trace Mikus and speak to him about this break-in.

"We are offering a reward of £500 for information leading to arrest and conviction. Anyone who knows where Mikus may be is asked to contact us via 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 0215 of 16/5. You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

A 31-year old man has already been arrested on suspicion of the same burglary and is currently on police bail until 21 July while enquiries continue.
