A man has elected to go trial over a series of racial offences allegedly carried out at Lidl.

Andrew Philip Tester, of Barley Close, Crawley, will appear at Horsham Magistrates Court on October 2 on charges of racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage and racially or religiously aggravated common assault.

The 33-year-old elected to stand when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court on June 11.
He was released on bail.

The charges followed an incident at the Lidl supermarket in Hazelwick Avenue, Crawley, on April 11.

So the prosecution are going to have to prove that race or religion were motivating factors? I have no doubt that the jury will be easily convinced, because the guy is obviously white.

Funny how Lee Rigby's killers were able to state on video and in court that their crime was racially-motivated and yet weren't charged on that score.
