Man charged with a dozen child sex offences
A man has been charged with numerous child sex offences.
Mark Sorensen, 50, of Harcourt Way, Selsey, appeared at Chichester Magistrates Court on Tuesday June 24 charged with 12 offences.
He is charged with attempting to incite a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity, facilitating the commission of a child sex offence and ten offences of making indecent images of children.
No plea was entered and the case was committed to Chichester Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on September 5.
The prosecution follows an investigation by detectives from West Sussex CID.
The prosecution does not allege that any local children are involved in the charges or are at risk in any other way.
