A bike was stolen after an intruder entered a flat.

Between 9pm and midnight on Thursday (26 June) an intruder entered a flat in Buckhurst Road and stole a red Voodoo Hoodoo mountain bike.

Detective Constable Cally Fox said: "I want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and could have seen or heard something suspicious.

"This is quite a distinctive bike and I would urge anyone to contact us if they see it or are offered the chance to buy it."

Sussex Police launched Operation Magpie to tackle burglary across the county.
