YOGA fans are limbering up for next month’s Brighton Yoga Festival.
The free one-day festival is bringing “balance to Brighton” on July 26 at St George’s Church in St George’s Road, Brighton.
The festival, which will be a first for the city, will feature yoga demonstrations, talks and activities. It will be opened by Caroline Lucas, MP for Brighton Pavilion, and all therapies will be free of charge.
Festival co-founder Davy Jones said: “The aim of the festival is, more than anything else, to give a taste of yoga to people who are curious but have never actually tried it before.
“There will be free beginner and taster sessions, demonstrations and workshops throughout the day for adults and children that cover a number of different yoga styles, from Vinyasa Flow to Ashtanga, supported by the major schools and teachers from across Brighton and Hove.”
The festival is from 9am to 5.30pm. Follow the festival on its Facebook page – facebook.com/BrightonYoga Festival – or visit brightonyogafestival.org
