Firefighters were called to deal with flooding after heavy overnight rain. 

The call came just before 5am this morning to a young lady at a bedsit in Buckingham Road, Brighton. 

The heavy overnight rain had caused flooding and it was affecting the woman's electricals. 

There were no reported injuries.

It must have been very frightening to wake up and find your ONE room flooding - on her own, no where to go - no upstairs - I feel very sorry for her. I hope she finds a new place to live soon that is much safer.
