A cyclist who suffered serious head injuries after a collision near Chichester has died.
Howard Plumb, 42, was airlifted to hospital following the accident in Knight's Hill, Charlton, at about 5.15pm on Saturday.
However he died at St George's Hospital in London yesterday morning.
The coroner has been informed and a post mortem is due to be carried out.
Mr Plumb, from Emsworth, Hampshire, had been involved with a collision with a white Honda Jazz car.
The car driver, a 54-year-old man from Sweden, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has been bailed until today while investigations continue.
