Silver cutlery and jewellery were stolen in burglary after intruders got in through back garden.

A house in Chepbourne Road, Bexhill, was burgled between 9am and 11.15am on July 6.

It is believed that the intruder gained access to the property through the back garden, as the garden fence had been damaged.

Sussex Police has launched Operation Magpie to tackle burglary across Sussex.

Any witness or anyone with information is asked to call 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 580 of 06/07. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
