A woman was bitten by a dog outside a supermarket.
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was bitten by a dog outside the Aldi store in Brooks Road, Lewes at about 3.50pm on Sunday.
The 39-year old local woman was bitten on the foot whilst outside the store by a small ginger/brown terrier-type dog which was secured on a lead outside the store.
A man and woman who had the dog took it away in a van and enquiries are being made to trace them.
The owners of the dog and anyone who witnessed the incident are asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1284 of 13/7.
