Almost two years after a man's body was found washed up on the beach at Camber, near Rye, police are still trying to find out who he was.

In a fresh appeal for information, this facial reconstruction has been made in the hope that someone may recognise the man. He was found on 22 November, 2012.

The case has been referred to the National Missing Persons Bureau and DNA checks have been made periodically, but all to no avail.

The man is white, about 5'8", with size 9 feet. He had distinctively shaped teeth, with a noticeable underbite.

When found, he was wearing a pair of underpants carrying the brand name Athena on the waistband. It is thought he may have been in the sea for some time.

Anyone who may know who the man is should phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk and ask for their information to be referred to the coroner's officer at Hastings police station.
