ANOTHER four motorists have been ordered to appear in court after being arrested as part of a crackdown on drink and drug driving in Sussex.

Hayley Edgar, 48, was arrested at 12.10am on June 4 after officers stopped her car in Westhampnett Road, Chichester.

Edgar, of Woodlands Lane, Chichester, has now been charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on November 18.

Benjamin Martill, 21, was arrested at 12.30am on June 5 after officers saw his vehicle moving across the carriageway in Brighton Road, Horsham.

Martill, of Swallowtail Road, Horsham, has now been charged with driving while unfit through drugs and possession of a controlled drug and released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on July 29.

Christopher Sales, 34, was arrested at 11.15pm on June 8 after officers saw him driving erratically in Rattle Road, Westham.

Sales, of Allen Road, Croydon, has now been charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Hastings Magistrates' Court on September 10.

Dean White, 19, was arrested at 11.15pm on June 21 after his car hit a lamppost in Portfield Way, Chichester.

White, of Churchwood Drive, Tangmere, has now been charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on October 7.

A total of 106 people have now been charged with offences in June as part of Operation Dragonfly, Sussex Police's summer crackdown.
