A man was stabbed in the arm during an argument.

Police were called to Skelmersdale Walk in Bewbush, Crawley, shortly after 4pm yesterday.

A large group of people were reported to be behaving suspiciously.

A few minutes later, the ambulance service reported they were attending an incident where a 22-year-old man had received knife wounds to his left arm.

He was taken to hospital and due to be transferred to a specialist plastic surgery unit at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.
