MEMBERS of the University of Sussex students’ union put on a host of activities at Jubilee Square in Brighton.
The students put on stalls and workshops alongside face-painting and refreshments.
Michael Segalov, communications officer for the union, said the day was set up to “showcase the positive contribution that students and the Students’ Union makes to the Brighton and Hove Community and to engage with local residents.”
He said the group wanted to challenge any negative preconceptions of students and engage with residents.
There was a Students’ Union information stall and others to highlight their societies and sports.
There was also information available about lettings for students and potential landlords.
