Wildlife rescuers have received a boost after a supermarket giant agreed to support them for a year.
East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service will receive a year’s worth of support from Sainsbury’s Heathfield store after being chosen as the firm’s partner for their Local Charity scheme following a public vote.
Last year the supermarket in Station Road raised more than £4,300 for 1st Heathfield Scouts.
