Man hit over head with lamp in Worthing burglary

A man was hit over the head with a lamp in a burglary at his home.

On July 26 at around 2pm two men entered a flat in Radnor Road and hit the victim, a 35-year-old man,with a lamp and smashed a couple of windows.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the aggravated burglary in Worthing.

Detective Constable Mandy Taylor said: "We are keen to talk to anyone who saw two white men in their 20s in the area or who might have heard a disturbance at the flat during the afternoon. If you saw or heard anything then please contact us on 101 and quote serial 1876 of 26/7 or anonomously contact crime stoppers on 0800 555 111."
