PATIENTS are being urged to get a flu jab.

People who use the Old School Surgery at Seaford and the Alfriston and East Dean clinics may be entitled to receive the free flu jab.

The clinics ask people who are ‘at risk’ to have their influenza jab as soon as they can.

Those deemed at risk are pregnant women, people aged over 65, those with chronic diseases of the kidneys, heart, liver and respiratory systems, people with diabetes, carers and children aged two to four.

All three clinics are running open days to encourage people to have a jab.

The first open day will be held at the Seaford branch in Church Street on September 27 from 8am to 4pm.

If you want an appointment and unable to attend call 01323 890072.
