Public garden anniversary celebration
A celebration will be held to mark the 60th birthday of a much-loved public garden.
A bird of prey display, entertainment and children’s rides will be among the fun on offer at Beech Hurst gardens on August 31.
The Haywards Heath Town Team is organising the event from midday until 4pm.
The Bowls Club will also be holding its league competitions, while the park also has a tennis court and a petanque green.
Picnics are welcome at the gardens in Butlers Green Road, Haywards Heath.
