A fête to raise funds to help a six-year-old walk is to be held on Saturday (August 16).
The planned event in support of Christian Fortunato was rained off last month.
Funds raised at the Sedlescombe fête will help pay for an operation to reduce the symptoms of Christian's cerebral palsy.
The Sedlescombe CE Primary School student was born with the condition, which affects his muscles and ability to walk.
Entertainment at the event will include live music, bouncy castle, face-painting, balloon modelling, fortune-telling, cream teas and a food van.
Local PCSO Demi Georghiou will also be demonstrating finger-printing techniques and giving crime prevention advice.
The event will be held in Sedlescombe Village Hall between 1pm and 4.30pm.
Max Fortunato, Christian's father, said: "It is hard to express in words how touched we are that in today's world people still care about each other.
"It is truly overwhelming that so many people have made Christian, and his dream to be able to walk, a primary focus."
