Two 17-year-old boys and a 19-year-old man have been arrested in connection to a series of 12 garage burglaries.

At about 1.30pm on August 13 the garages were broken into in The Pines, Beech Road and Sycamore Avenue in Roffey.

A number of bicycles were stolen during the burglaries and an attempt was also made to break into a house in Church Road.

A 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man from Horsham have been arrested and questioned on suspicion of criminal damage. A 17-year-old boy from Southwater was arrested and questioned on suspicion of burglary.

All three teenagers have been released on bail until 18 September.

Sergeant Chris O'Leary said: "Although we have made three arrests we'd still like to speak to people that might have information about what happened.

"We would like to find anyone who was in the area who might have seen or heard anything, or anyone who has seen groups of young men in the area riding away on bikes.

"Members of the local community have been very helpful with the investigation so far but we hope there could be other people who could help us still."
