IT WAS feeding time at the zoo as these cute meerkats tucked in to their packed lunches.
The mini Olegs and Sergeis got involved in the NSPCC’s Big Packed Lunch launch event at Drusillas Zoo Park.
The children’s charity has launched the fundraiser which calls on the public to enjoy a leisurely lunch with friends, family, colleagues and neighbours on September 17 to help fund the charity’s ChildLine Schools Service.
The service puts trained volunteers into every primary school across the UK once every two years to talk about different forms of abuse.
Amie Ibrahimi-Brown, of the NSPCC, said: “It’s a really simple idea. We want people to get together, roll out their picnic blanket for a special lunch with a difference and donate the money they may have spent on a lunch to the NSPCC.”
