ZOO staff have been gibbon a lovely bonus with the birth of a new primate.
Staff at Drusillas, near Alfriston, have been crying “lemur have a look at him” after the birth of a cute new arrival for their Lar Gibbon couple of Tali and Ulu.
The gibbon was born late in July and keepers think it could be boy. The babe’s older brother, Sholo, will be four years old in October.
Lar gibbons, an endangered species, have one baby at a time, which stays with its parents until it is about eight years old. For more information visit drusillas.co.uk
