A RESTURANT has made it into an esteemed top 50 food guide.

The Pass at the South Lodge Hotel, near Horsham, came in at 38 in the elite Good Food Guide list, published by Waitrose.

The Michelin starred restaurant is run by Matt Gillan who joined in 2006 after stints with Gordon Ramsay and other top chefs.

He starred in Great British Menu while his colleague, fellow South Lodge Hotel chef Steven Edwards, won Masterchef: the Professionals.

The Good Food Guide’s annual top 50 ranking is highly regarded by chefs and restaurant-goers.

The Pass has made the guide three years in a row.
