A MAN and woman alleged to have attempted to take a family member to a Swiss euthanasia clinic have had their bail extended.

A 25-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman from the Chichester area were originally questioned by police in August last year over plans to take a 71-year-old man to Dignitas.

The man and woman were questioned by police and originally released on bail without charge.

Their bail has been extended again until October 16.

"The man and woman were questioned by police and originally released on bail without charge. "

That's because there is nothing to charge them with.

The police would gain far more respect if instead of targeting innocent people on the suspicion of wrong-doing, they targeted those who have already committed a crime.
