Barn gutted in a mystery fire
A BARN was destroyed in a mystery fire but no one was hurt.
Firefighters from Battle, Herstmonceux, Uckfield, Burwash, Bexhill, Heathfield and Eastbourne were called to Farthing Lane, Ashburnham, at 11pm on Monday and were still at the scene at 7am on Tuesday.
The barn contained farm machinery and hay bales.
