A Sussex restaurant has been named as one of the best in the country in the Good Food Guide.

The Pass at the South Lodge Hotel near Horsham was named 38th best nationwide in the prestigious rundown.

Head chef Matt Gillan and his team were given seven out for their modern fine dining.

The 26 cover restaurant already has a Michelin star and four AA Rosettes.

Top of the pile was Simon Rogan's restaurant L'Enclume in the Lake District which received a perfect ten.

Second and third were Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck in Bray and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London.

Well read the article again then you fool. Are you the proofreader? The definition of the word JARE as is your name as quoted in the Urban Dictionary as follows.

A name given to someone who is played. One who wears their heart on their sleeve leaving them prime for being taken. A person who can be easily taken advantage of. Someone who will place trust and belief in someone and not think twice about it regardless of reputation. A person who can be lied to and manipulated repeatedly. An extremely gullible human being.

You failed to show that "Head chef Matt Gillan and his team were given seven out for their modern fine dining " was taken from the report.

My name isn't Jare, so your observational 'powers' are failing you.

I have to agree with ok.jared it did look like you wrote it...I thought it was constructive criticism and your response was...a tad aggressive. Also. What you wrote with regard to his screen name was not a quote either, it was a cut and paste from Urban Dictionary.

Because of the lack of precision in your punctuation I too jumped to the conclusion that it was your proof reading at fault.

I am in full support of careful writing but I do feel a biblical quote about motes and beams coming on.
